Our son got us tickets for The Lion King a week from Friday. I've never been to a Broadway show (on Broadway) before and this sounds so cool. I have seen the movie version.
The tickets, service charges and FedEx fees cost more than I get for my part time job, though, so there's a bit of guilt there!
I think we've decided to take the train up to NYC. I'm not yet sure if we're staying overnight or not. I definitely have to be here for my church job on Sunday.
And what will Mimi do? She's never been to a kennel, she's too strong for my Mom to take for walks. Maybe she'll visit her sister?
